Third day of the Spiritual Summit in Unity Pavilion on February 15th. Dialogues were held on the topics of “Coming to Know Shakti”, “Body & Mind”, “Designing a More Conscious Future”, “Human Evolution & Auroville” with Dr. Jayanti S. Ravi, etc. @avfoundation #auroville
Replying to
Ravi is the WRONG person to accept this earthday award on behalf of Auroville because she has BULLDOZED hundreds of TREES in Auroville for a 50 year old concept plan of a ROAD which had plenty of viable alternatives! She still seeks to bulldoze more trees in contempt of the NGT.
Sri Aurobindo, in his essay “Arya: Its Significance” on what it means to be “Arya”
For seekers in the Dharmic tradition, finding the works of Aurobindo Ghosh (both the political and spiritual) is like finding a detailed map of a dangerous and difficult expedition. He was thinking a century ahead of himself at the very least. A true genius
Replying to
In Aurobindo's interpretation at least (from what I can make out of it), I don't think he has a low opinion of businessmen. It's just that most ancient cultures (including our own), placed the role of the priest and the warrior as the ultimate ideal to aspire towards
speaking on his book 'India, Bharat and Pakistan: The Constitutional Journey of a Sandwiched Civilisation' with in YouTube Link:
It was a delight to listen to Shri KN Govindacharya after ages! He has not lost his fluency as you can see. In this short clip I recorded he brings out the essence of Bharatiyata so beautifully. Prakriti bhugol banati hai, manushya itihas banata hai.
A scientist, in particular in medicine, should know better than uncritically enhancing the claims of a single study

Between 1914 and 1921, Sri Aurobindo wrote several books on religion and philosophy in the Arya magazine but he conceived The Life Divine in a different way where he was weaving an entirely new ontology surpassing both Western and Indian tradition and contemporaries from science.
Dharma adherents have no hesitation in buying new models of mobile phones but when it comes to philosophy, the tradition is considered as pure gold. Sri Aurobindo has boldly shattered this opposition by religions by establishing The Life Divine as a universal and futuristic path.
Let it be known that almost all direct disciples talked about synthesis, inclusion, and the integral approach that was normal to the modernist environment of the 20th century. But responding to postmodernist sentiments, I have been pitching for an exclusionary marquee since 2005.
Sri Aurobindo has given the Vedic interpretation of castes but that doesn't alter the ground situation as long as the mythological basis of religion lasts. No amount of social justice can help. Savitri Era Religion saves from such social ills perpetrated by customs and tradition.
